Well I guess that could be true. Especially, when business owners abuse the conversion to get the prices higher ( that happened in my country after the adoption, then later they had to lower it cause many stopped buying).
In general though it should make things cheaper, according to the theory.
Maybe, it’s also about identity and being sceptical to the EU in general.
